Michael V. Arcieri

President / Owner

Michael, a Brooklyn, NY native, is a proud graduate of Msgr Farrell High School in Staten Island, NY and moved on to his BS in Accounting from St. John’s University. Having worked at several prominent CPA firms in NYC, NJ, and PA, he has gained over 15 years of experience in public accounting. In 2015, Michael founded MVA Tax & Advisors LLC and in 2024 partnered with HGF PC and brought them under the MVA umbrella. His extensive industry experience spans construction, food and beverage, professional services, real estate, manufacturing, and mortgage banking.

Beyond his professional commitments, Michael is a devoted husband and the proud father of three boys. When not engrossed in work, you’ll find him savoring precious family moments, coaching at baseball fields, cooking, DJing or attempting to refine his golf skills. Serving as the Treasurer for the Quakertown Youth Baseball Association (QYBA), he actively contributes to his community.

Cheri H. Freeh

CPA, CGMA, Audit Partner

Cheri, with over forty years of expertise in accounting, auditing, and taxation, is a distinguished member of the AICPA and PICPA. Currently serving on the AICPA Tax Executive Committee and the PICPA State Taxation Committee, she actively contributes to tax legislation drafting and the development of reporting models and audit guides. Cheri’s expertise spans non-profit and government auditing, along with taxation for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts. An accomplished speaker, she shares her knowledge with organizations like the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives. Cheri, with educational credentials from Northampton Community College and Thomas Edison State College, is not only a seasoned professional but also actively involved in the community, serving on numerous local boards. Her leadership and contributions make her a standout figure in the field of accounting.

Douglas E. Hutchinson

PA, EA

Doug, a graduate of Central Bucks High School and Penn State University, pursued further studies at New York University while serving as a U.S. Air Force officer. With 15 years in the steel industry at Bethlehem Fabricators, Inc., he served as an administrative assistant before venturing into entrepreneurship in 1976. Starting as a sole proprietorship, Doug’s accounting practice has grown into a firm with six CPAs, one CPA candidate, and two support staff. His diverse background includes roles in Production Control Management and Construction Project Management. Doug has also contributed to the community by serving on the Board of Directors of the former Sellersville Savings and Loan, now part of National Penn Bank. His journey reflects academic, professional, and entrepreneurial success.

Dave A. heineman

CPA, Accountant in Charge

With over thirty years of experience in accounting, auditing, and tax preparation, David A. Heineman is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive audit and tax experience, specializing in auditing governmental entities such as school districts, authorities, boroughs, and townships. Currently, he serves a diverse clientele, including individuals, businesses, governments, and not-for-profit organizations.
Residing in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Mr. Heineman is actively involved in the community. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Management from Moravian College in 1991 and obtained his Certified Public Accountant license in 1993.

Patty Kuronya

CPA Accountant in Charge

With over twenty years of experience in accounting, auditing, and tax, Patty is a distinguished member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. Graduating with honors from DeSales University in 2000 with a double major in accounting and finance, she joined the firm right after graduation and earned her Certified Public Accountant designation in 2002. Patty’s expertise spans various accounting areas, including governmental auditing, non-profit auditing, and tax preparation for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. She currently resides in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, with her husband and two children.

Maureen Bailey

CPA, Tax and Accounting Project Manager

Maureen, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Adelphi University, has a diverse background in both public accounting and the private sector. After a pause to raise her family, she returned to public accounting, transferring her CPA license from New York to Pennsylvania. In her current role, Maureen handles compilations, reviews, and audits for small businesses and Not-for-Profit Organizations, while also offering tax preparation services for both businesses and individual taxpayers. Residing in Coopersburg with her husband and son, who attends Penn State, Maureen is an avid Ohio State football fan and enjoys various outdoor activities like bicycling, hiking, and unwinding at the beach.

Phillip Fleck

Accountant in Charge

Phillip, with 11 years of tax and accounting experience, is a proud member of the National Association of Tax Professionals. His expertise in public accounting encompasses a comprehensive understanding of accounting and taxation for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and non-profit organizations. Phillip earned his B.S. in Accounting from DeSales University in 2014 and furthered his credentials by becoming an Enrolled Agent in 2015. His commitment to staying abreast of industry developments and his skill set make him a valuable professional in the field of tax and accounting.

Eileen M. Barth

Tax and Accounting Project Manager

Eileen, a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Edison, NJ, attended Middlesex County College. With thirty years of experience in Accounting and Finance, she previously held positions in a Mortgage and Finance Company and a Major Building Materials Distribution Company before joining HG&F. At HG&F, Eileen specializes in tax preparation, payroll processing, A/P, A/R, billing, and financial reconciliations. She is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, providing assistance to clients in using the software. Eileen stays updated by attending seminars and completing CPE course studies to ensure outstanding services to clients.

Rocco, is a recent graduate of Temple University’s Fox School of Business with a focus in Accounting, he is currently working towards becoming a Certified Public Accountant. With a solid academic background, he is passionate about financial excellence. Eager to apply theoretical knowledge, Rocco is dedicated to delivering quality audit and tax services. His academic journey has provided a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and taxation. Outside of work, Rocco enjoys outdoor activities, especially golf, and values time with friends and family.

Mary A. Kaiser

Administrator

Mary brings over 35 plus years of expertise in Word Processing, Executive Secretarial, Administrative Assistance, and Tax Preparation. Proficient in Microsoft Office, she handles Financial Statements layout, Bookkeeping, and customer service, excelling in tax return preparation during tax season. Holding an Associates of Arts degree from Bucks County Community College, Mary continually enhances her skills through seminars in QuickBooks, Tax Preparation, and Recordkeeping over the past 25 years.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Mary enjoys Crocheting, Bowling, and Cross Stitch. In recent years, she has devoted time to caring for her elderly parents while cherishing moments with friends and family. Mary’s extensive experience, ongoing learning, and well-rounded personal life make her a valuable and versatile professional.

Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Vertebrate Biology and over 5 years of customer service experience. Known for her organizational prowess and attention to detail, Laura excels in time management. Beyond work, she enjoys baking, hiking, and maintaining home aquariums, showcasing her diverse interests.
